That death had nothing to do with anything other than the complete lack of attention, by him, towards his customer. As I was leaving the parking lot, I realized that what I had just been witness to, was the death of a small business. Never, ever, never, never,ever, ever,never. I slid out of there 8.73 poorer, 2 cold dead pieces of pizza and some dead salad in my tummy, Looked back towards the front door of this place, and told myself, "Don't you ever take me to this place again". At 1255 hrs I got up very slowly, scooted the chair a little to make some noise, went back to the buffet to say goodbye to those same dead, cold pieces of pizza, looked up at the counter to see if anybody there would notice that I was leaving, Nothing. At no time did they even look at the buffet. At no time did either one ask me about my visit there, how was the food, or even come to my table to see if I was even still alive after the first 2 piece's of cold dead pizza and dead salad. At 1350 hrs, I gave them one last chance to do something about this future review. The couple with the 2 small children had left around 1330 hrs. I got a plate with some of that salad and and 2 pieces of pizza, hoping that the owner and the other guy that was there, would notice their dying by the moment buffet, and replace those now 12 pieces of deader (is this even a word) than when I got here pizza with some new life. pizza I had to choose from between five pizza's, there was also a cold dead tray of salad with 2 choice's of dressing to choose from, ranch or thousand island. Many of the buildings still stand and can be viewed as part of the walking tour. Lots of military "stuff" located within.īuilt during the civil war the installation remained in use thru the 1970's. Built on the grounds of the military installation the museum is a wonderful piece of history and military and history buffs will absolutely be delighted. Tons of artifacts all with a local flair. This is an absolutely great little museum that tells the wonderful history of the old Fort Thomas (The West Point of the West). ![]()
